Sorry Diane, normally I ignore this kind of rhetoric, but really?!?
If you don't mind eating slow poison, then so be it, but to come off like it is OK, is like telling people it is OK to smoke.
Sure it won't kill you instantly, but long term? Who really knows?
And also, how do GE apples have anything to do with raising chickens?

Golden Delicious apples do not turn brown. They have historically been the choice for Waldorf Salad because of that, they will even dry nice and light. They store well, and they taste great!
There are also a couple of new crossbreeds from them that stay white also.
