Re: [CHICKENS-101] Fw: Last chance to comment against GE apples

You don't. If the chicken was raised in the USA but processed in China, they are not planning on telling you.  How do we know USA chicken came back?  I am sticking to chicken I raised.

OMG!  I DO remember this!  I searched the internet, but I can't find anything about stores that sell chicken from China. I avoid any meat that doesn't say USA on it AND organic. AND 'certified Humane'. But how can you know if the label is honest, anyway.

US vs. USA

After WW2, Japan, in trying to recover, made a lot of small things to sell here.  Toys, small paper figures, all sorts of small things, and most of it quickly became recognized as junk.  "Made in Japan" meant it was cheap, poorly made, poor materials, and would fall apart fast.  Even the china dishes were very frail.  So obviously, people stopped buying it.

Japan named one of their islands Usa, and started labeling products as "made in Usa".  And they got away with it for quite a while too!

True story.  Some of you probably remember.
