Re: [CHICKENS-101] Scary episode today

Good for you, Michele, for handling a potentially terrible incident so well.  I grew up in a 'drop 'em where they stand' family so I applaud your actions.  Expect him back however.  Do you shoot?  We have no firearms here, which is probably good, as I'd shoot first and realize there was a hole in the neighbors house second.

I was getting pics of the silkies and our neighbors large mutt heard them and he came up to get my babies!! I was furious! Jake saved the day he held the dog of at the break of the bank until I got my husbands attention. He got a gun and shot close to him and he hasn't been back yet. Scared the silkies to death. If he comes back again he's dead meat and if he kills any of my chickens they will pay one way or the other. If I shoot the dog on my property and he drops where I shoot him they can bury their stupid viscious mutt. He acted aggresive toward my hubby. Amber plays outside allot and it better not attempt to hurt her.
K, I'm done now I'm tired.

Thanks,

Michele in WV
