Well, my house chicken once laid her egg on top of the stove, about a foot from the frying pan.

Twice this week, no eggs. And many less on the rest. I was bummed. I looked and looked in case they decided to lay elsewhere, notta. Well today in my cleaning I find they decided to lay in the corner of the coop! I had a whole pile of eggs there! Five perfectly good nest boxes, one stinky corner. Go figure.
Gaad, these are better puzzles than the New York Times.
