My dad told me he read that Corgis were bred to guard chickens.  Does your sis have chickens?  Or do you know how they are with them?

            My sister had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi- "Corky" had a "Wiggle Bump" too.  I think the Corgy and AS have their tails docked at the same length……a very short little Wiggle Bump!
