[CHICKENS-101] nite guard?

 

Hi All,

I read about the nite guards in a Backyard Poultry magazine a friend lent me.  Does anyone have these?  Do they work?

Is there a way to make something like this on your own?

I lost 2 chickens last summer to possibly a raccoon.

Here is what someone wrote on their web site:
