Several articals online stated that they lifted the ban on home scraps because you can handle home scraps safer. Not placing meat with plants. They still do not allow commercial scraps from restaurants and other places to be used. That was my understanding from what I read.

What is you evidence that the UK ruled a few years back that private homes MAY feed scraps from their kitchens only? That directly contradicts the information I was given by DEFRA today.
