Cathryn I have no clue -- but I love reading about your silkies.  I decided for the larger sized -- wanted to make sure I could see them. Idea just came to me -- what is this that I hear about chicks in shells being dyed while in the shell and come out with different colors?  Is this safe?  Legal?  What about a little chick in the shell eating dye at such an early age?
