Re: [CHICKENS-101] Chicken Duty

The doc is right. I have a lower back injury that has plagued me for years. When I have worked too hard for the day and agitate the injury, then when I lay down to sleep, my lower back hurts and the thigh goes numb and throbs - exactly as you described. It is very hard to fall asleep this way.

Well, went out took care of my feathered critters..they sure are happy to see me :)
Somehow, somewhere, between shoveling dog jewels, chickens jewels and taking care of the exotic birds, I hurt my knee. Except it isn't my knee it is the top portion of the thigh going to the knee. It's numb but throbs.
See what happens when you have too much fun?
Called the Dr and asked the nurse if I should worry. Told me it is not my thigh or knee its my back.
I cannot believe that I have reached the age where I don't know my back from thigh.
This is a warning to all you young whippersnappers -- be aware -- this can happen to you
