they can be trapped, albeit difficult.
Right now they have a coop and run that I call fort knox, coop is 8x8 and the run is 8x16 Hardwire overlaid with chicken wire buried and reinforced... they will still spend much of their time in that
... but yesterday we built a 12x16 side pen that is 4ft hardwire with netting over it to prevent break outs and hawk-swoop,... they will only have access to that when we are home and up and about... as a substitute for free ranging.
they are just getting used to it now. I was out there with them for awhile.. will go out in a minute to see how its going ... need to check the trap as well...
