[CHICKENS-101] Re: Red bantam will ot leave the nesting box.

 

I have a BO that is broody for the 2nd time this year. She had stopped and started laying eggs again when we got the new chicks. As soon as the chicks were put outside with the other broody hen, a silky she had grown up with and mothered, she went broody again. She 'visits' the Silkie and babies through the fence that separates them. But most of her time is spent in the nesting box.
