Re: [CHICKENS-101] newbe Help please

 

Thanks Cathryn, I cooked beef and noodles tonight and ground up some
beef as I read somewhere it could be not enough protein but dog food
mixed in could be the trick. Not sure with this heat in Indiana or
moving into egg laying, I ran to rural king as the co-op is closed to
look for ideas and compared the feeds and both of theirs has 16+ don't
remember actual # will check co-op tomorrow as the tag is off of their
feed. Do I need to pull the mixture (layer and growth) and just do
layer. These birds are only 17/18 weeks old and I thought you was
suppose to feed grower to 20 weeks is why I mixed it. About 15 pounds
of each is mixed. If need I can pull it and just use it as scratch feed
and just feed layers. They also are getting oyster shell and grit.
