Bobbye, I am with you too! Only in the uk. It is not easy or cheap to own a gun.

So I would use what ever is at hand. I have lots of tools around different areas of the garden that would be usefull weapons if needed!

Also I only have a small garden not a big farm.

Our dog Jack, who protects our chickens has access to the compound throughout the night as a preventative measure. He would be there like a shot if he heard a comotion.

Our garden is only about 100 foot long so we would be very aware if anything came for dinner. Jane & co
