I honestly wouldn't worry about 30's, especially if they are used to it and have been progressively acclimated to it with the season. If you really are worried about a cold snap, how about having some plastic, or tarps, ready to staple over the mesh sections? Or for the long term, you could make some panels with window sections that could be set in as needed.
