TSC sells food grade DE for animals around $13 a bag (at my TSC). It is a 20 lb bag, relatively cheap. In my TSC it is near the injectable cattle supplies and syringes.   I use it to cut down on the flies, in dust baths, and before I put in clean bedding. I also used it in the fall heavily around my outside doors stoop to slow down the millipede invasion. Won't stop all of them. Here is the link
