[CHICKENS-101] Molting

 

Thank you for all your responses.  I agree that it doesn't make sense for her to molt now, so maybe she is dying, but in the meantime, in case she isn't, I'd like to make her comfortable.  DH won't let me turn on the heat lamp in the barn, but I can try adding bedding to the nest box in case she wants to snuggle there.  The old girls won't let her on the perch so she sleeps in the corner of the room with her buddy, who is the same age and is also rejected by the oldies.  We always close the door at night and even in the daytime if the temp is too low.  Marg
