LOL! People don't realize that I am grandfathered in, and have started keeping hens in their back yard too. The city is trying to make every one get rid of them. It's too bad. Their coops are clean and their chickens are great pets for the children. I hope the movement for back yard chickens is approved so people can have them.

I live in the suburbs, no one around here has any chickens. One family did a few years ago but the roosters made so much noise and they tried to keep goats etc., they were forced to get rid of all of the animals they were very dirty people. but that is where I go the idea of chickens in my area, I asked my neighbors if they had a problem and they didn't, so I called the town and they said it was ok. I am a non conformist. My ex gave me a mug that said, "Conform and Be Dull"
