Space has been the problem. Picture this if you were standing on the back porch -extending the backyard fence out to the storage house and back up around the fruit trees to the right of the house? I would be about 1/2 acre. Is that enough. I would have to put in a little pond also. I guess a few ducks would be better than a pair of geese. I do have the free range backyard guineas for noise. What \do you think?
I got 5 teenage Seramas from Grandpa Jack and Pam yesterday. One black and green cockrel, a gold splash cockrel and gold splash pullets. Couldn't resist. I guess they will live in the basement this winter. Hope to have some babies this spring/summer.
Hope you are taking care of yourself! Hugs, Susan

Susan 50 is cold here too, especially with the wind. I am picturing your backyard and your pens, where would you put geese and ducks? They are wet and messy, with wet, messy droppings, and require lots of room, lots and lots of room.
