I had a large wheel barrow full of cantaloupe, half of another wheel barrow of water melons, bushel's of tomatoes, bushels of chickweed, and trash bags full of wild grapes from my parent's. My grapes ripen before theirs and are long gone. Had to fight the deer for the squash. There is still half a wheel barrow of winter pears I need to feed then I am scraping bottom. I'll have to pick more grapes until the pumpkins start rolling in and watch for un picked apples trees. My apple trees were frosted and didn't put out much of anything. Need later blooming trees. The serama hatched and she, going to insist it is a she, is a light yellow color.

Mine will just nibble at the pumpkins, not their favorite and also watermelon and cantaloupe they go crazy, they eat everything but a very thin little skin that they leave behind

I posted on my local free cycle for unspoiled, unpainted, unwanted pumpkins to pick up after Halloween that can be used for chick treats on my local free cycle. LOL! thought I'd share the idea in case someone else would like to do the same too.
