Mine will just nibble at the pumpkins, not their favorite and also watermelon and cantaloupe they go crazy, they eat everything but a very thin little skin that they leave behind

Wish you were closer. We have several, but mine and my brother's chickens don't care for them. His pig does however, but the chickies will leave 'em alone, now watermelon they do love.
