I would refuse the offer since you don't have a way to separate them. If you put them together in the same pen, they WILL fight. The results will be either just a lot of squawking and stress or perhaps injury and even death. On top of that, the new hens may bring disease into your existing flock.

I have 2 6 month olds, a buff Orpington, and a black Silkie. Also, 4 2 month olds, Red Stars and EE's. They all live together and get along great. If I were to take these on, how would I do it? This time of year I have no way of seperating them to help them to socialize, get used to each other. I have one coop and run and we are already in the middle of a Nor'easter her in MA. As I write I'm realizing this probably isn't a good idea, until spring, anyway.
Any thoughts?
