This is my first post. I am excited about getting back into chickens after a five year hiatus. I have a mixed flock of 8 week old pullets. I noticed one of the EE pullets has a hooked beak and not doing as well as the others. She can't completely close her beak. I have read up a little and plan to trim her top beak back a with dog nail trimmers. Sounds like the best process is to trim back just a little at a time until the beak can close. I would appreciate any advice on the subject.
