RE: [CHICKENS-101] singleton

 

            Give it something to cuddle with, like a beany baby.  I believe it is Gina, definitely someone on this list that gives their lonely babies a snuggle buddy. 

            Actually, anything furry or wooly would probably work, but I have to admit the beany baby chicken is the cutest!

Out of a dozen eggs that I set, only one baby hatched and it seems lonely and cries all the time. I don't have any other chicks close in age or a broody hen. How can I make this baby's life better?
