[CHICKENS-101] new Member

 

Hello everyone!
I am new here and new to chickens.. actually we havent really begun yet.
We just moved to a farmette in mid-south Wisconsin and previosly lived in a suburb of Chicago that did NOT allow chickens.. we have been talking about and planning our flock for years now and soooooo excited to get started soon.

Hubby is a carpenter and will be builing the coop and the run. He wants dual purpose chickens he is thinking Wyandottes and I am thinking Rhode Island Reds... we shall see...

I have been looking at past posts and absorbing all your knoweledge. This weekend we are going to draw the plans for the coop.
