Oh, my, we did that the first year. Got chicks in mid Oct. and thought we'd raise them in the master bath. I had 1 red herp heat lamp for them and propped a long board from the edge of the tub (resting against the shower next to the tub) up against the other end wall. Then I draped a blanket over it. That cut down on the noise but we were not sleeping in the adjacent bedroom. I'd only use a red light at night. That white light is what's keeping them awake.
