I have a horror story about U-Haul from 1996. We rented one to move my
daughter from KS to WA that summer. It broke down 5 times - dripping diesel
fuel from the hood liner and into the cab - before they finally gave us a
different truck in Salt Lake City. They only did then because I threatened
them with a lawyer. In their defense, they paid all our additional expenses
for the 7 day nightmare and refunded my daughter's rental cost, but there
was one point in the Rockies that I was sure the thing was out to kill us
all (me, my daughter, her cat, and her dog). Shudder.

LOL heck I rarely trust what they rent much less what they sell :-) I
watch a special years ago that looked into the safety and service of a
few truck rental companies .... it was like watching how hot dogs are
made ... break downs .. poor maintenance .... I gather since it is
