just make a wet mix out of their feed and see what happens ........
Never make more wet mix than they will eat in 45 minutes to an hours time . Make sure they have fresh cool water at all times .

I got 25# of Buxton chick starter (non GMO, etc.) from our local coop here in Seattle and I had a question. The girls love the food, but since they turned about 5 weeks old or so, they've been picking out the big bits (peas, etc.) and leaving the more fine components (what I'm sure is ground grains, etc.). I know that the feed is not off (smells sweet, properly stored, etc.) and I think they're just being picky. Any ideas to ensure they're getting the benefits of the complete feed? They do get free choice grit in their coop because I also give them a spent plant from the garden, etc., occasionally. Thanks for any thoughts!Jennifer
