If this is the first time and the egg may have accidentally gotten cracked you probably dont need to worry about it . If it happens again try hanging a soup bone in the coop. Good luck

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Help, I have egg eaters!
I have a one year old, and five 22 week old pullets, I caught them eating an egg today. It must have started yesterday as I have collected one egg per day regularly until Thursday. My chickens are fed organic layer feed and I also prepare a mixture of greens, mealworms, berries, and oats with a little olive oil on a daily basis. They also have plenty of oyster shell, grit and water available. I check them at least four times daily looking for that much appreciated egg and anxiously await a few more from the younger pullets. I don't know how to remedy this. Thanks in advance for your help.
