Thanks Cathryn! I had picked up some Save-a-chick last night from tractor supply. It was the only one that wasn't just b12. It said one packet for a gallon of water but I put about half a packet in a 16.9oz water bottle. I syringed her 3ccs of it and put a little in her water dish. Amazingly though her leg already looked like it was better. It wasn't all sickly looking but she still couldn't stand on it. She had eaten almost all of her food which seemed like a lot to me. Which led me to think maybe she is being pushed off the food. I have one of those (maybe 1-2 gallon capacity) white and red feed things from tractor supply. Should I make another feeding station even though I only have 7 hens? Is there some kind of rule of amount of feeders and waterers per chicken? I free range mine during the day so there are periods of the day where she could go eat by herself if she thought about it. Advice?
Thanks,
Em
