Yes I have the room but I really doubt I will be getting enough chickens to sell them now.
Thanks

Ro, Hang on to them if you have the storage room. You never know you may decide one day to have a breed that you can sell fresh hatching eggs and may need the cartons. Even selling hatching eggs you won't make a profit but you will get way more per dozen eggs.

Well for it is the love mostly, I do not eat my hens, but I take their eggs, I do not eat meat but I do occasionally eat the eggs. someone claimed she wanted to buy eggs so I bought cartons but she only bought one dozen, the biggest problem is that the super market sell them cheap. then I started give the extras away but that became a hassle since no one wanted to return the cartons but got a little demanding about me bringing them free eggs.. Then I started to feed the extra eggs to my girls, it is good for them and they do not know what they are.
Now I work at a soup kitchen and the "boss" gives me all the leftover breads and fresh vegetables I want, I just give him a half dozen eggs every other week,so that in some way is paying for them.
Unless you live in an area that you can find a good market for your eggs it will not pay, this is my opinion of course. I am still stuck with 200 egg cartons. lol

Good luck
