On top of what Sue advised, I'd get the chick inside. Your chick's beak will grow back, but is in great pain when trying to eat and drink. Poor baby.

If more than half of the beak is missing, I'd say it will be difficult for him to eat properly. Maybe keep an eye on him and see how he does. I'd weigh him now to get a base line and then weigh weekly to make sure he's keeping his weight. Also, check his keel every now and again for muscle mass.
