It would be more fun to get 4-5 pullet chicks and raise your own up.  That way they are imprinted on you and how you like to do things. Just an idea. Cathryn

Thanks cathryn. I just decided I was going to do this so I am writing these names down.I have a nearby rural friend that has lots of chickens. I will get with them and see what is available here. This part of oregon is very isolated so I don't know about availability. There are only about 25 thousand people in 100 miles of coast.
