Cathryn, We've lived here over 37 years. Unless you're one of the people that likes the cold and snow, you'd like it here. The first couple years, Christmas day without snow, was tough, but we'd go to the beach. So, we'd still have a "white" sandy beach Christmas. But, the days of the real white beach sand, well, it isn't so white anymore. You'd love our winters, that's why so many "snowbirds" come down Nov. thru April. Ruth
