Hello,
I am kind of new to this list and I don't post all that often. I am a member of quite a few other lists and I see this same old thing go on over and over again. I find it harder to take when people announce they are going to leave because of the fighting and such. To me, people only announce it so they can hear all of the "Oh don't go", "You will be missed" etc... Get over yourself and move on. If you are tired of the list you don't have to leave, you can go to your yahoo groups and go no mail for awhile. Come back when you feel like it. It is ridiculous to me that a bunch of adults can't get on line and talk about chickens without being jerks about it. We all have opinions and we are not all going to take care of chickens just alike.
When you all get in a tizzy about something, remember how unimportant this all really is. Somewhere in the world there are little kids starving or people dying of cancer.
I will go back out to shovel more snow now and stay off the computer.

Just ignore the nasties and sooner or later they will leave.
okay I have gone back trying to figure out what they heck is going on and really could not find anything or anybody being outright nasty. Sounds to me like this is blown out of proportion. As somebody else said, this is a group for discussion, and it works best if everybody keeps that in mind, we don't all have to agree, but we need to be civil and keep personal issues out of it.
If people want to leave because they can't get over the small stuff, I wish them well.
