While my guineas are loud and obnoxious I dont think they are as bad as those that dont live with chickens.. they squawk at silly things ( like when the wad of plastic bags floated in the yard... omg! they surrounded it at sqauwked it into submission!)
but they roost with the chickens and come in at night (so far at least) and do more soft "chirping" all day than squawking...
I think since they were raised together and the chickens outnumber them, they just adopted more of their habits than their own.. if that makes sense..
