first of all, good to hear your Sussex is okay, yay. I would suggest to
have a couple other antibiotics on hand, just in case, tetracycline and
tylan maybe, that way if the Sulmet fails, you have other options.
As far as the sneezing goes, yes lack of ventilation can cause respiratory
problems, but at the same time she may have an infection. Mycoplasmosis is
rather common and can cause respiratory symptoms, since your Sussex was
just sick, there is a chance your other hen has a problem too, just
different symptoms.
