I have a question: how long is too long when it comes to egg collection? We've skipped a day in collecting eggs on occassion, and they seem just fine. But what if we were to go away for the w/e or, God forbid, the whole family was struck ill with one of those nasty take-to-your-respective-beds-and-pray-for-death viruses, would we need to throw out any eggs over 3 days old? 2 days? I'm sure this would be partly dependent on the weather (we live in the northeast), but are there any guidelines on this? Thanks, Anne Bringing Borya Home
