I have friend who just got of bunch of them. What's the big diff
between them and the regular silkie?

Picture Corky with zero down on the bottom half of his head/draw a line across his beak/zero feathers below his beak. I prefer bearded over non bearded. My reds from the Netherlands are non bearded, bred to my bearded, the best bearded kept and bred to my bearded reds. I keep the best because a nice crested non bearded can be attractive. (My opinion.)
