Yes, I have to second (third) what the others have said, my girls go through crumble almost twice as fast as pellets, and I get to shovel it out from the coop floor L

Subject: [CHICKENS-101] Pellet or crumble?
I have had my chickens for a month now and have been feeding them an organic pellet layer feed. The feed I would prefer to feed them (no soy) only comes in a crumble form. My chickens free-range half time (and full time on the weekends on pasture). Can anyone advise about the differences and advantages/disadvantages of pellet vs. crumble? Or does it matter?
