[CHICKENS-101] Re: Life --and death -- on the farm

I forget where I am sometimes too. People can be so weird about things like that.  I too am happy that everyone here is understanding of eachother and the different ways we choose to raise our birds. I have a lot of birds some of which are nearly impossible to tell apart. Some have names some don't.  I hatch out chicks or when the chicken gods smile down on me or I get lucky they do it themselves. Extra boys get sent to freezer camp,  some girls and or high quality boys get sold,  some I get so attached to that they get to live out their lives here being chickens and getting spoiled. I sell eggs and we eat them. I'm lucky I also have several chicken owning friends and family members to balance out the rest.
