I have a very small showgirl/naked neck silkie about 8-9 weeks old, very large crest, big poof on the tail, long poof on the neck, looks like the perfect pullet. She, he crowed, a full sized crow for a little chicken - no squeaky hinges. He must have learned from watching and hearing the seramas. I have never had a such a little guy crow before. Wish I had had my cell phone on me to record him. My seramas are still taking care of the chicks even though the chicks and their crests are taller than they are!
