They could be hatching so many because they were given them.Hatcheries and breeders can charge up to$20- $45 per box of a dozen. I would say a hatchery gave them to the centre.The chicks will probably go into each children's play rooms from toddlers up .I just hope they have the right set up once they have hatched.That is a lot of chicks to take care of.
