Macaws may sound the alert, but they'd soon be dinner for a flying predator here. A pet macaw cannot stay outside all day sounding the alert for hawks.

Cool! Never thought of Macaws as guardians.
Oh... and you can never tell a small parrot that she's small. They know they are as big and fierce as the big'uns. LOL!
