Chickens love bugs and you have to worm on a schedule in OK anyway. I won't feed bugs to my show silkies, they have to get their own. My egg layers can have all of the bugs they want if they get them.

Your silkies were deciding/debating if chancing getting worms from grubs were worth the treat. (grubs, earthworms, insects, ET... are hosts for worms like cecal worms, et... while the grubs may not be infested, you never know)
