I live in the woods and my drive is a 1/2 mile long. I have a small dumpster (issued by the waste removal folks) to dispose of my garbage instead of curb side pickup.

I can dump my garbage whenever I want and don't have to haul it down curb side on a specific day; the cost is not much more than regular pickup.

So, if that's the only excuse dh can come up with to keep you from enjoying that lovely property, start packin' your bags ;)
