Speaking of blow drying chickens, I once had a drenched guinea requiring a blow dry. Guineas being guineas, I wasn't sure how this was going to work out and embarked on this adventure with some trepidation.
When I turned on the blow dryer, the guinea began to `sing' and stretch its head out as if in a state of ecstasy. When I turned the dryer off, he got became unmanageable. So, I turned it on again where he returned to his nirvana state of singing and stretching.
Seems he enjoyed the `hum' of the blow dryer. I've heard this about grouse. Some enjoy the noise made by 4 wheelers and will follow the rider to hell and back singing and stumbling behind like drunks in a state of bliss.
Birds. They're a hoot, eh?
