Have her crush and smell the centipede remains to determine if the critters will flavor the eggs. What chickens eat can affect the flavor of both eggs and meat. It would depend on the numbers though. How many centipedes one chicken eats in a 24 hour period.

My experience in this was when chickens were turned out to catch grasshoppers and instead, headed straight for the camphor (eucalyptus) tree. Soon the eggs began tasting 'off' and eventually both meat and eggs tasted like they been fried in Vicks Vaporub!

One of my friends lives in Hawaii and her chickens eat the local centipedes. Will these effect the quality of the eggs? I didn't think so but I figured better safe than sorry. Thanks! :love: Angelique
