[CHICKENS-101] Re: herbs for chickens

Greetings Bobbye, I must express my complete admiration for you starting in all over again after such a disaster. You will definitely be a welcome addition to our little group. As for herbs effecting the taste of eggs the only case I have heard off is Garlic. While this may not technically be a herb it falls within the broad definition of things used to improve the flavor of just about anything except for Brussels Sprouts. Nothing can help them. The information is strictly anecdotal as I have never seen any real documentation on garlic flavored eggs before they are removed from the shell. Some things must have an effect because our "Home Laid Eggs" taste much better than store bought. I sometimes think store eggs are from fake chickens. You can't believe any of the advertising these days. This brings up a question. If Garlic flavored a fertile egg what would a chick hatched from it be like?
I got too much time on my hands.
