Valerie,
I lost a hen today, also. She was one of my favorite Naked Necks, too! She had a full crop and nothing seemed wrong with her. I believe it was heatstroke! We put fans in the coops, today. I am changing water twice a day and tomorrow plan to use some ice. My 6 week old chicks really need to come out of the barn brooder, but the pen isn’t ready yet.
If you are looking to replace your hen, I have several to choose from.

We lost one of our chickens today. She was alive when I got home about 2:30.
I went out again about 5 and she was dead. We got to about 103 today. She
was down in the grass next to the corner of the coop. Now we are down to 2.
Would it be safe to find another chicken about the same age, or is there too
much danger in introducing a new hen?
Thanks
Pat & Valerie
