Good point, thanks for the input. If we use a tractor, it will be during the day. We have two dogs, and one that patrols the yard aggressively, but they are not out all night and I know we have foxes, raccoons, and coyotes even out in our woods. The foxes come fairly close to the house, but come to think of it, not so much since we got our Great Pyrenees dog!

Years ago I foolishly left some 6 week old chicks out in a tractor overnight. Something picked the tractor up and that was the end of that flock. I suspect Eastern Coyotes. If you make completely predator proof you would need a bulldozer to move it.
